About this role:
The Technology for the Chief Operating Office (TCOO) organization, provides technology services for the Chief Operating Office. This includes operations, control executives, strategic execution, business continuity and resiliency, data solutions and services, regulatory relations, customer experience, enterprise shared services, supply chain management, and the corporate properties group. TCOO provides technology solutions and manages application portfolios for these groups to support modernization and optimization.
Within TCOO we are seeking a Principal Engineer to join the Supply Chain & Corporate Security Technology (SSR) team. The SSR team supports Supply Chain Management, Corporate Security, Enterprise Resiliency and CAO Data and Analytics business functions under the Chief Administrative Office. This role will drive creation and adoption of various roadmaps across multiple programs in this organization. The team will drive technology transformation and adoption of AI, Cloud and on-premise solutions integrating with enterprise platforms.
In this role, you will:
- Act as an advisor to leadership to develop or influence applications, network, information security, database, operating systems, or web technologies for highly complex business and technical needs across multiple groups
- Lead the strategy and resolution of highly complex and unique challenges requiring in-depth evaluation across multiple areas or the enterprise, delivering solutions that are long-term, large-scale and require vision, creativity, innovation, advanced analytical and inductive thinking
- Translate advanced technology experience, an in-depth knowledge of the organizations tactical and strategic business objectives, the enterprise technological environment, the organization structure, and strategic technological opportunities and requirements into technical engineering solutions
- Provide vision, direction and expertise to leadership on implementing innovative and significant business solutions
- Maintain knowledge of industry best practices and new technologies and recommends innovations that enhance operations or provide a competitive advantage to the organization
- Strategically engage with all levels of professionals and managers across the enterprise and serve as an expert advisor to leadership
- Design, code, test, debug, and document for projects and programs
- Review and analyze complex, large-scale technology solutions for tactical and strategic business objectives, enterprise technological environment, and technical challenges that require in-depth evaluation of multiple factors, including intangibles or unprecedented technical factors
- Architect and deploy solutions on-premise and on Google Cloud (GCP), ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance
- Deliver solutions by leveraging Agentic AI frameworks for the Chief Operating Office (TCOO)
- Help drive adoption of enterprise capabilities, tools, and innovation improving availability in a multi-cloud ecosystem by evolving observability, monitoring, logging, synthetic monitoring and chaos engineering
- Translate AI engineering knowledge and business requirements into technical engineering solutions
Leverage expertise to implement innovative and significant business solutions
Required Qualifications:
- 7+ years of Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- 7+ years of experience with solution architecture and application design
- 7+ years of financial services industry experience
- 7+ years of Java and/or Python experience
- 4+ years of experience with cloud computing including migration & deployment
- 4+ years of data warehouse experience
- 3+ years of UI (User Interface) experience
- 3+ years of workflow experience
Desired Qualifications:
- 3+ years of Financial Industry experience
- Experience working with Python and Python frameworks
- Experience working with LLM models and prompt engineering
- Experience with enterprise data platforms such as Teradata, MapR and Hortonworks
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Experience with AWS or GCP
- Experience with building enterprise applications using Java, Workflow technologies like JBPM, Business Intelligence tools (Tableau, PowerBI)
- 5+ years demonstrated ability to successfully navigate and operate across multiple level of the organization
- Experience collaborating with key resources and stakeholders, influencing decisions, and managing work to achieve strategic goals
- Executive level business acumen in technology/industry best practices and emerging trends
- Strong executive presence, facilitation skills, drive for results, attention to quality and detail, and a synergetic attitude
- Experience motivating and influencing groups or individuals across organizational boundaries to gain trust and confidence to make timely decisions
- Excellent communications, interpersonal, and presentations skills utilizing PowerPoint across technical and non-technical groups
- Bachelor’s degree and Master of Business Administration (MBA)
Job Expectations:
- Ability to work onsite 3 days/week at one of posted locations
Pay Range
Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, experience, or work location. The range listed is just one component of the compensation package offered to candidates.
$159,000.00 - $305,000.00
