About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Information Security Analyst to serve as a hands-on technical contributor focused on data engineering, application development, control automation, and AI enablement in Cybersecurity Information Protection Domain (IPD) function.
In this role, you will:
Provide information security consultation to improve awareness and compliance with Enterprise Information Security policy, processes and standards
Perform remediation of security assessment review issues, complex ad hoc data, and reporting to support information security risk management
Provide guidance and direction in reviewing assessment findings and mitigating controls to optimize information security
Identify and direct information asset portfolio reconciliations and certifications
Provide advanced data aggregation and data of information security risk exposure
Develop and deliver Information Security Education Awareness and Training in accordance with the Enterprise Information Security Program standards
Review draft and proposed control standards for business impact and recommend modifications or clarifications as required
Conduct security control testing and consultation with stakeholders
Evaluate and interpret internal and Enterprise Information Security policies, processes and standards, and provide recommendations to improve them
Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals
Interact with internal customers
Serve as a mentor to less experienced staff
Required Qualifications:
4+ years of Information Security Analysis experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
Experience using AI-assisted development tools or techniques to improve productivity and solution delivery
Understanding of applying AI or advanced analytics for data validation, anomaly detection, or process optimization
Ability to design scalable, maintainable solutions for complex technical and data problems
Experience in software engineering, data engineering, or technical solution development
Strong hands-on experience with Python for application development, automation, and data processing
Experience with SQL for data querying, transformation, and ETL/ELT processes
Experience designing and building data pipelines and integrating enterprise data sources
Experience with Power BI, Microsoft Fabric, or Power Platform for reporting and analytics
Experience integrating systems using REST APIs, JSON, and secure data exchange methods
Experience with GitHub, CI/CD pipelines, and modern development practices
Strong troubleshooting skills across applications, data pipelines, and integrations
Experience building end-to-end data and automation solutions supporting governance or control processes
Experience with operational data stores, data modeling, and data reconciliation techniques
Experience developing enterprise reporting and analytics solutions for metrics and insights
Familiarity with workflow automation and integration across enterprise systems
Experience improving data quality, lineage, and traceability across distributed data environments
Experience integrating AI capabilities into data pipelines, analytics workflows, or automation solutions
Demonstrated ability to independently deliver production-ready, scalable solutions in a fast-paced environment
Job Expectations:
Designing and building scalable, code-first solutions that enable automated control execution, enterprise reporting, and governance outcomes.
Develop Python-based services, APIs, and data pipelines to ingest, transform, and integrate enterprise data across systems of record. The role will also leverage AI-assisted development and analytics techniques to enhance engineering productivity, improve data quality insights, and enable intelligent automation of control execution and reporting processes. Additionally, the role will build reporting and analytics solutions using Power BI and Microsoft Fabric to support governance metrics and operational insights.
Operate as a technical individual contributor with end-to-end ownership of solution delivery, including design, build, integration, optimization, and continuous improvement. Success is defined by improving data quality, reducing manual effort, increasing automation, and delivering reliable, audit-ready, and AI-enabled solutions that support control execution and reporting.
Identify and implement opportunities to embed AI into data pipelines and automation workflows to improve efficiency and decision support
Apply AI-assisted development techniques to accelerate engineering tasks, including code generation, testing, and optimization
Leverage AI and advanced analytics to support anomaly detection, data validation, and pattern recognition across control execution data
Automate data processing, validation, and workflow activities to reduce manual effort and improve scalability
Design and develop Python-based services, APIs, and automation solutions to support control execution and reporting workflows
Build and optimize data pipelines using SQL, ETL/ELT processes, and operational data store patterns
Develop data models and analytics solutions using Power BI, Fabric, and Power Platform tools
Integrate systems of record through REST APIs, enabling data ingestion, validation, and reconciliation across platforms
Design solutions that ensure data quality, traceability, and auditability across pipelines and reporting outputs
Implement CI/CD practices using GitHub for code management, deployment, and version control
Translate control and business requirements into scalable technical solutions with embedded validation and audit trails
Troubleshoot data pipelines, application logic, API integrations, and reporting discrepancies
